Introduction to dry ball mill equipment
Dry ball mill is named because no water is added during the production process, and it is straight-cylinder-shaped. Dry ball mill needs to cooperate with products such as induced draft device, dust exhaust pipe and dust removal equipment when working, and the grinding method is opposite to that of wet ball mill. Dry type is mainly used for grinding raw materials or finished products such as cement, refractory materials, chemical raw materials, phosphate fertilizers, and grinding of ores before selecting non-ferrous metals in ore dressing plants. In the production process of aerated concrete, it is used to grind cement, lime, desulfurized gypsum, quartz sand, fly ash and other materials.
Structural composition and instructions for use of dry ball mill
Dry ball mill consists of main parts such as feeding part, discharging part, rotating part, transmission part (reducer, small transmission gear, motor, electronic control). The hollow shaft is made of cast steel, the inner lining is removable, the rotating large gear is made of casting hobbing, and the cylinder is inlaid with wear-resistant lining, which has good wear resistance.
Working Principle of Dry Ball Mill
Dry ball mill is composed of horizontal cylinder, hollow shaft for feeding and discharging materials and grinding head. The cylinder is a long cylinder with grinding body inside. The cylinder is made of steel plate and fixed with steel lining plate. The grinding body is generally steel ball and is loaded into the cylinder according to different diameters and proportions. The grinding body can also be steel segment.
The material is selected according to the particle size of the grinding material. The material is loaded into the cylinder through the hollow shaft at the feeding end of the ball mill. When the cylinder of the ball mill rotates, the grinding body is carried away by the cylinder due to the inertia, centrifugal force and friction. When it is brought to a high height, it is thrown down due to its own gravity. The falling grinding body crushes the material in the cylinder like a projectile.
